Update (4/2/2018): Duty Ferry's closure has been extended due to high water until Thursday, April 5, 2018, at approximately 12:00 p.m. The high water is not receding as quickly as predicted which impedes the safe landing to load and/or unload passengers as well as the safety of the traveling public.

Duty Ferry on LA 559 in Catahoula Parish is closed beginning Friday, March 16, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. until Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m. due to high water.
