The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that US 90 (Railroad Avenue) over the Mermentau River between Second Street and Taylor Street will have alternating lane closures in the east and westbound directions on Monday, March 5, for routine bridge inspections.

This closure is estimated to take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Two way traffic will be maintained utilizing a flagging operation.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
