UPDATE: ROAD OPEN - ALL WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, February 12, construction will begin on a $575,000 project on LA 367 (Bayou Mallet Highway) from LA 370 (Richard School Road) to US 190 in Acadia and St. Landry Parishes.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be intermittent lane closures for asphalt concrete pavement patching and thin lift asphalt concrete overlay.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

LA 13 may be used as an alternate route.

The project will include milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, thin asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.

The project is estimated for completion in March 2018.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause.
