UPDATE: This project is now complete. Thank you for your patience.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, February 5, construction will begin on a $2.7 million project on LA 31 from LA 350 to LA 351 in St. Martin Parish.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be intermittent lane closures and a pilot car will be used throughout the project. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

LA 347 may be used as an alternate route between Parks and Breaux Bridge.

The project will include replacing drainage structures, cold planing asphaltic concrete, asphalt pavement patching, milling asphalt pavement, and related work.

The project is estimated for completion in November, 2018.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
