Southbound right lane of I-55 between milepost 32 and mile post 31 (between LA 3234, University Ave. and US 190) will be closed to repair a guardrail on Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 6th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The left lane will be open at all times. Reduced speed limits will be posted. Motorist may experience a 5 minute delay.
PERMIT/DETOUR SECTION: This lane closure will restrict the passage of oversize vehicles greater than 12 feet wide from Exit 32 (LA 3234) to Exit 31 (US 190). The road is open for regular traffic, but oversized vehicles heading south must detour using US 51 which can be accessed by taking Exit 32, LA 3234, travel east on LA 3234 to US 51, then south on US 51 to US 190, then west on US 190 to the junction of I-55.
