ST. TAMMANY PARISH – CITY OF COVINGTON
PROJECT H.004987-U S 190/COLLINS BLVD. BRIDGE CLOSURE
There will be a closure of both lanes on the entire bridge over the Bogue Falaya River on US 190/Collins Blvd. in Covington as follows: Tuesday, January 16, Wednesday, January 17, and Thursday, January 18, ending on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 5:00 AM, between the hours of 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM. This is to allow survey/inspection work on the bridge under this Project, weather permitting.
Detour
Motorists are advised to use US 190 to LA 1077, then use LA 1077 South to access I-12, or North to LA 1078 then East on LA 1078 to LA 25 then South or North on LA 25 to reach their destination.
There will be NO emergency vehicle access, as the entire bridge will be closed.
The Covington Police Department will be on-site each night.
