LA 44 (St. James Parish) Single Lane Closure

LA 44 (ST. JAMES PARISH) – A single lane road closure will take place on LA 44 (River Rd.) on Monday, December 4, 2017 through Friday, December 22, 2017 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
The closure will be from LA 3214 to 0.1 miles north of LA 3214.
The closure is necessary for maintenance painting of pipe bridge over LA 44.
Any permit loads wider than 11’ or higher than 25’ should contact the permit office for rerouting.
Alternates routes are available. Motorists should detour:
North Bound - Take LA 44 to LA 3214. Turn left onto LA 3125 and proceed to LA 70. Turn left on LA 70 and proceed to LA 44 (River Rd.)
South Bound - Take LA 44 to LA 70. Take LA 70 east to LA 3125. Turn right onto LA 3125 and proceed to LA 3214. Turn right onto LA 3214 and proceed to LA 44. Turn left onto LA 44 to proceed south bound on River Rd.
