DOTD announces intermittent lane closure on U.S. 90 for roadway sampling

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that beginning Saturday, July 13, until Sunday, July 14, the right lanes of U.S. 90 westbound and eastbound, between Albertson’s Parkway and Ambassador Caffery Parkway, will have intermittent closures in order for crews to conduct roadway sampling.

The lane closures will take place from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Wide loads will be restricted to 14 feet in width over the Billeaud Overpass.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
