UPDATE: LA 27 LANE CLOSURE – 0.8 MILES SOUTH OF ELLENDER BRIDGE (ICWW) – CALCASIEU/CAMERON PARISHES
LA 27 IS NOW OPEN, WITH NO RESTRICTIONS.
Beginning Monday, November 27, 2017, thru Friday, December 8, 2017, LA 27 will experience alternating lane closures, between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, daily.
The roadway will be reduced to one lane, and thru traffic will be maintained in both directions via the use of flagmen. During closure times, the roadway width will be reduced to 16 feet; therefore, oversized loads are cautioned to pursue alternate route(s).
The closure is necessary for roadway and drainage improvements along LA 27.
Motorists can expect delays through the work zone during this period. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
