ST. TAMMANY PARISH - I-59 SOUTHBOUND AND NORTHBOUND
INSIDE LANE CLOSURES FROM MISSISSIPPI/LOUISIANA STATE LINE TO THE I-12/I-10 INTERCHANGE
There will be a closure on I-59 of the SOUTHBOUND INSIDE LANE from the Mississippi/Louisiana state line to the I-12/I-10 Interchange on Friday, November 17, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and a closure of the NORTHBOUND INSIDE LANE from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM. In addition, there will be a SOUTHBOUND INSIDE LANE closure from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM Saturday, November 18.
There will be a closure of the SOUTHBOUND INSIDE LANE of I-59 on Monday and Tuesday, November 20 and November 21, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. In addition, there will be a NORTHBOUND INSIDE LANE closure on Monday, November 20 from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM Tuesday, November 21. There will be a SOUTHBOUND INSIDE LANE closure on Tuesday, November 21, from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM Wednesday, November 22.
This is for crews to continue preparing the ground for this project, weather permitting.
One lane will remain open at all times, there will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour
Motorists wishing to avoid any delays can exit I-59 in Picayune, MS, take Mississippi 43 S from Picayune to Mississippi 603 south in Kiln and proceed south to I-10 West.
