The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 111 in Vernon Parish, approximately 10.7 miles south of LA 8 is now re-opened.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public of an upcoming pipe replacement on LA 111 in Vernon Parish, approximately 10.7 miles south of LA 8.
The repair will begin at 7:00 am on Tuesday November 21, 2017, and is expected to be complete by the end of the day on Wednesday November 22, 2017 depending on weather. During the repair LA 111 will be closed to traffic at the repair site.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway at the construction site will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement.
The detour will be as follows:
Northbound traffic will take LA 464 to LA 8 to LA 111.
Southbound traffic will take LA 8 to LA 464 to LA 111.
