The Galliano Lift Bridge over Bayou Lafourche connecting LA 3162 and E90th Street will be closed continuously to vehicular traffic from 5:30 am Saturday, Nov. 4 to 8:00 pm Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017. This closure is necessary to allow DOTD contractors to replace the roof on the bridge house.
Alternate routes around the closure are as follows:
Northbound on LA 308 or LA 1 to the LA 657 (New Larose) Lift Bridge.
Southbound on LA 308 or LA 1 to the Golden Meadow Lift Bridge.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
