US 190, 1/4 mile East of JCT LA 1027, will have single lane closures with flagging operations beginning Monday, July 8, 2013 through Friday, July 12, 2013 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm daily (weather permitting).  These lane closures are necessary while crews perform concrete box culvert construction and other related work.  

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone.  The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions.  To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 447 to I-12 to LA 16 (Livingston) to US 190 as an alternate route.
