The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on I-49 southbound, north of Exit 73 (Woodworth), Rapides Parish, one lane will be closed today due to an accident.
Drivers may experience delays during peak traffic times.
Permit/Detour Section
One lane will be open.
Optional Detour Route:
To avoid the congestion on I-49 southbound, motorist can detour at Exit 80 to US 71 South to US 167 back to I-49.
