LA 145/ Bridge Closure

UPDATE******LA 145 IS NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC AS OF 11:00 AM, FEBRUARY 16, 2018***
UPDATE: ****Maintenance crews are tentatively scheduled to begin replacing this bridge on January 8, 2018 and should be complete sometime in March 2018, weather permitting.****
LA 145 will be closed 0.6 miles north of the intersection of LA 821 and LA 145 in Sibley, LA beginning today, October 3, 2017 and will remain closed until the bridge at this location is replaced. Maintenance crews estimate mobilizing to the site within the month to begin removal and replacement of the bridge. As of today, it is estimated to be closed for up to four months, and the opening date will be updated as construction of the new bridge progresses.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour route will be LA 821, LA 820, LA 33, and LA 822.
