US 61 from St. James Parish line to Sorrento Shell Road, Intermittent Lane Closures
Construction for State Project H.012848, is expected to begin October 3, 2017. The project consists of milling asphalt concrete shoulders, in-place slag stabilized base course of shoulders, asphalt overlay of shoulders, and related work.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be intermittent lane closures on US 61 during construction. Work on the project is expected to last approximately three months, weather permitting.
