UPDATE:
The required repairs to the bridge deck listed below were made, and the road was reopened as of Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2017. DOTD apologizes for the inconvenience this closure may have caused and appreciates your patience and cooperation.

EMERGENCY CLOSURE
US 80 will be closed 1.3 miles west of US 65 in Tallulah, LA as of this afternoon Friday, September 29, 2017. This emergency closure is required to perform repairs to the bridge deck over Panola Bayou. The roadway is anticipated to be reopened by Monday, October 2, 2017.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be US 65, I-20, and LA 577.
