LA 558: LA 15 – ARKANSAS STATE LINE
UNION PARISH

CONTROL SECTION NO. 154-30

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting November 13, 2017, construction work will begin on LA 558 in Mount Union from LA 15 to the Arkansas state line. The project length is 5.959 miles.

LA 558 will be intermittently reduced to one lane during the span of the project. Lane closures will begin on Monday, November 13, 2017 and will continue until approximately Friday, December 15, 2017. Lane closures will begin each morning around 7:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m. each evening, weather permitting, with no work scheduled for weekends at this time. These lane closures will allow contractors to perform work to install new asphalt surfacing on the roadway.

Permit/Detour Section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times, and no detour routes will be provided. During this time, traffic will be restricted to 12-foot travel lane widths.
