DOTD wraps up U.S. 90 Huey P. Long Bridge paint project

BRIDGE CITY, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has completed a $19.7 million project to clean and paint the railroad portion of the Huey P. Long Bridge. Contractor InTech Contracting, LLC wrapped up work over the weekend and is now completing site cleanup.

The project, which began in October 2016, cleaned and painted the railroad trusses of the structure not included in the $1.2 billion widening project completed in 2013.
