LA 970 and LA 1, Pointe Coupee Parish, lane closure, H.012647

LA HWY 1 and LA HWY 970 Intersection, Lettsworth, Pointe Coupee Parish. A single lane will be colsed along Hwy 1 in order for road construction to take place on Hwy 970. The lane closure will extend 1000 feet in each direction of the intersection. This closure is for ONE day only, Wednesday, September 27th, 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
During this time, only one lane of traffic will be allowed to pass. Roadway flaggers and a pilot vehicle will escort all vehicles through the work area.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project.
Please be patient and respectful to the workers on the roadway during this time.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
