LA 928 (ASCENSION PARISH) – A road closure will take place on LA 928 (BLUFF RD.) on Saturday, September 09, 2017 from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through during closure, in the event of an emergency. No thru traffic will be allowed to pass during this road closure.
The closure will be from Alligator Bayou Road to Manchac Place Drive.
The closure is necessary to survey the top deck of the bridge over I-10. This closure is to allow safe work on a bridge that is in a curve and in super. Bridge is to be completely closed for the duration.
Proposed alternate routes during this closure are as follows:
Southbound – LA 427 to US 61 South then LA 73 South to LA 74 West to LA 928
Northbound – LA 928 South to LA 74 East then LA 73 North to US 61 North then LA 427 West to LA 928.
