The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that I-49, between I-10 and the Lafayette/St. Landry Parish line will have alternating nightly lane closures in the north and southbound directions beginning Sunday, July 30, until Thursday, September 7, for the removal and replacement of striping and pavement markings for both mainline and on\off ramps.

No closures will be in effect on Friday and Saturday nights.

Northbound work is estimated to take place nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Southbound work is estimated to take place nightly from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m., weather permitting.
