NOW OPEN! LA 42 AT LA 16 IS NOW OPEN. THE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED!
LA 42 at LA 16 (Port Vincent intersection) will have lane closures beginning Monday, July 17, 2017 through Thursday, July 20, 2017 (weather permitting) due to intersection repairs including asphalt resurfacing. During this period, wide loads will not be allowed because of limited space for vehicles to pass the work zone.
Message boards have been placed at LA 42 and LA 16 to prepare and remind drivers of the lane closure and will remain for the duration of the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
