ROAD CLOSURE – LA 970 BETWEEN LA 1 AND LA 417, THORNION BAYOU BRIDGE REPAIR, POINTE COUPEE PARISH HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH JULY 24, 2017
Subject: LA 970 ROAD CLOSURE in Pointe Coupee Parish
Beginning Monday, July 10, 2017 thru Monday, July 24, 2017, LA 970 will be closed to for bridge repairs at Thornion Bayou near Lettsworth, LA in Pointe Coupee Parish. The point of closure is 3.3 miles west of the intersection of LA 1 and LA 970.
Detour Information
Detour signing will be posted, directing east bound LA 970 traffic north on LA 417 for 4.6 miles to the junction of LA 418, 0.3 miles south to the junction of LA 1, then southeast on LA 1 for 5.4 miles to the junction of LA 970. The west bound LA 970 detour is northwest on LA 1 to the junction of LA 418, north to the junction of LA 417, then south on LA 417 to the junction of LA 970.
