Eastbound US 90 in Waggaman, from Capitol Drive to Avondale Garden Road; will have alternating lane closures from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 while crews work on the widening of US 90.
This closure will allow vehicles 12 feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversized vehicles must detour using LA 18 (River Road).
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
