District 02 Road Status

NEW ORLEANS, LA - Effective immediately, the following road closures and high water notifications are in place due to heavy rains. The roads will be reopened as soon as conditions improve.

Lafourche Parish
Closure/High Water: La. 1 below Port Fourchon is now open all the way to Grand Isle. Motorists should drive with caution in the event of debris on the roadway.

St. Charles Parish
Closure/Utilities: La. 631 (Old Spanish Trail) from La. 306 (Bayou Gauche) to La. 635 (Sims Road) closed due to downed pole and power lines on La. 631 at La. 306. The roadway is impassable. Entergy has been notified and will address. Reopened at 2:15 p.m. on June 21, 2017.

No other routes are affected at this time. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the closed areas.
