US 190, from 0.4 miles west of JCT LA 63 (Livingston) to the Tangipahoa Parish line, will be under construction beginning Monday, June 3, 2013.  This work is expected to be completed in June 2014.  Please be prepared for intermittent delays beginning on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily (weather permitting).  These lane closures are necessary while crews perform pavement patching, perform cold-planing, install new asphalt pavement, and other related work.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone.  The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions.  To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 447 to I-12 to I-55 to US 190 as an alternate route.
