DOTD to hold public meeting for US 165 Corridor Study in Ouachita Parish

OUACHITA PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will hold a public meeting regarding the Stage 0 Corridor Study for US 165 in Ouachita Parish. The meeting will be conducted in an open house style to provide information on proposed improvements to US 165 (Martin Luther King Dr.) from its intersection with US 165 Business in Monroe extending north to its intersection with LA 2 in Sterlington.

The study proposes intersection improvements or modifications through access management guidelines. DOTD encourages the public to attend a meeting regarding this project at the following time and place:

Informational materials and graphic exhibits will be on display to describe the project and proposed roadway improvements that are under study. Representatives from DOTD and the consultant team will be present to receive comments and answer questions.

Written and verbal comments will be received at the meeting. Additional written comments emailed to greg.badon@arcadis.com or mailed to the address shown, if postmarked by Friday, May 19, 2017, will become part of the record of this public meeting.
