Mile Post 2.470; Control Section 840-31
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advise the public that LA 1204, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work will be done at Milepost 2.470 and is on Control Section 840-31. The closure will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific Railroad to change the trackpanel and surface thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 1204 to US 165 to LA 623 to LA 3225 to LA 1204. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
