LA Hwy 115, Avoyelles Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. LA Hwy 115 will be closed from the intersection of LA Hwy 1176 eastward to the intersection of US Hwy 71 in the City of Bunkie. This road closure will be in effect until Monday, July 22, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. to allow work crews to remove and replace section of sanitary sewer collection mains beneath the roadway.
Permit/Detour section
The detour route for persons traveling east along LA Hwy 115 toward the City of Bunkie will be southeast along LA Hwy 1176 approximately 4.2 miles to LA Hwy 29; thence north along LA Hwy 29 approximately 3.6 miles to US Hwy 71; thence north along US Hwy 71 approximately 0.2 miles to the intersection of LA Hwy 115.
The detour route for persons traveling west along LA Hwy 115 toward the City of Bunkie will be south along US Hwy 71 approximately 0.2 miles to LA Hwy 29; thence south along LA Hwy 29 approximately 3.6 miles to the LA Hwy 1176; thence northwest along LA Hwy 1176 approximately 4.2 miles to the intersection of LA Hwy 115.
