LA 451 Moreauville; Avoyelles Parish
Mile Post 0.840; Control Section 374-02
DOT # 335-061T
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advise the public that LA 451, Moreauville, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at Milepost 0.840 and is on Control Section 374-02. The closure will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 8:30 AM with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2017. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the surface and ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 451 to LA 1 South to LA 451. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
