LA 3191, approximately 1.7 miles north of the LA 1 Bypass intersection, is re-opened.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on April 20th, 2017 at 8:00 am, LA 3191 will be closed approximately 1.7 miles north of the LA 1 Bypass intersection. The intent of this closure is to remove a very large tree on the right of way. Power lines will have to be lowered and the tree will fall across the road. The roadway is expected to be reopen by 3:00 pm the same day.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the tree removal. The detour route is as stated:
Northbound traffic on LA 3191 will detour North on LA 1, then South on LA 3191.
Southbound traffic on LA 3191 will detour South on LA 1, then North on LA 3191.
