Bridge Closure - Lea Joyner / US 80 Bridge, Monroe / West Monroe

The Lea Joyner / US 80 Bridge on Louisville Avenue will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic for two separate 4 week periods in order to replace the main bearings on each side of the bridge.
The first bridge closure will begin Saturday, June 1st, 2013 and will continue through Sunday June 30th, 2013.
During both bridge closures, no vehicles will be allowed to pass over the Lea Joyner / US 80 Bridge through the construction zone at any time. All vehicles must detour using the Interstate 20 bridge.
The LADOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution when near the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
