LA 486 Clarence, Natchitoches Parish

Mile Post 0.25; Control Section 305-01

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advise the public that LA 486; Natchitoches Parish will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Spur track at the port of Natchitoches.  The work will be done at milepost 0.25 and is on control section 305-01.  The closure will be Monday May 13, 2013 from 8:30 AM and will remain closed till 5:00 PM on Thursday May 16, 2013.  The closure is for Kansas City Southern to change out the track panel and the surfacing thru crossing.  

Permit/Detour section

The roadway will be closed completely too all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 6 East to US 71 North to LA 480 South to LA 486 West.  All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
