The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed construction of three J-turns and closure of median openings for control of access along US 190 from its intersection with LA 78 eastward to Reliable Lane in Livonia. The purpose of the project is to improve safety by limiting the number of left turn and rear-end conflict points along US 190.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. Representatives from LADOTD will be available to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. A continuous presentation will be shown describing the project. Verbal comments can be recorded and written comments on the projects can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the LADOTD address shown below, postmarked by March 6, 2017, to be included in the transcript of this meeting. The public meeting will be held on:
