LA 174; East Junction LA 483 to Junction LA 175, Sabine Parish, Reconstruction

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises that weather permitting on Wednesday, May 10, 2013 road construction work will begin on LA 174 from the East Junction LA 483 to Junction LA 175. This 7.28 mile long road reconstruction project will receive cold planing, lime treatment, in-place cement stabilized base course, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Madden Contracting Co., in the amount of $3,252,512.69.

Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be open to traffic at all times. There will be no restrictions for regular traffic and a 12’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles.
