LA 531 OVERPASS AT I-20

LDOTD is conducting an Open House Public Hearing for the proposed reconstruction of the La 531 Overpass at Interstate 20 in Webster Parish as follows:

LDOTD, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes to replace the existing two lane LA 531 overpass with a widened structure over I-20 in Webster Parish Louisiana. The project includes the construction of four lane roadway section with a raised concrete median/splitter island, frontage roads a widened overpass structure accommodating one northbound lane, one southbound lane, and a left turn lane, and four roundabouts. An Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared to study alternatives for the LA 531 overpass. Informational materials will be distributed and graphic displays will be available for viewing. A continuous presentation will be shown describing the project, alternatives studied, and impacts from the project, including wetlands and acquisition of right-of-way and relocation assistance. LDOTD representatives will be present to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Verbal and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the address shown below, postmarked by November 4, 2016.

The EA can also be reviewed and/or purchased at the LDOTD District 04 office at 3339 Industrial Dr, Bossier City, LA 71112.
