An off-system bridge replacement project on St Helena Church Road, Parish Rd. 89, 1.7 miles east of LA 1044, in St. Helena Parish will require closure of the road to through traffic beginning Monday April 22, 2013 and is expected to be reopened in late June 2013. 

Motorist can detour this closure by driving south on LA 1044  to the junction of LA 432, east on LA 432 to the junction of LA 38, east on LA 38 to the junction of LA 43, north on LA 43 to the junction of Joe Smith Rd then west on J. Smith Rd which joins St. Helena Church Rd on its eastern end.
