La. 404 Bayou Choctaw Bridge, Avoyelles Parish, Bridge Closure

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that the La. 404 Bayou Choctaw Bridge will be closed for repairs from Monday, April 15, 2013 to Friday, April 19.
The repairs include installing new bridge pilings and constructing a helper bent to add additional support to the bridge’s deck. The bridge is located approximately 0.3 miles east of La. 75. The detour to travel around the closure is La. 75 north to La. 1 south to La. 993 south to La. 404.
