TASK FORCE OVERVIEW
In June, Gov. John Bel Edwards Task Force on Transportation Infrastructure Investment. The task force is charged with issuing recommendations to the Governor on transportation infrastructure improvements, to be considered for legislation during the 2017 Regular Legislative Session.
The duties of the task force include:
Research, identify, and make specific actionable recommendations for achieving sufficient increased levels of recurring funding to address multimodal transportation needs in Louisiana.
