The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that on Monday, August 29 until Tuesday August, 30, Interstate 10, in St. Martin Parish, on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The lane closures will occur at milepost 125 and 120 westbound in the outside lane.

These lane closures are necessary for crews to install electrical equipment at the emergency crossovers.

There are no detours necessary for this work and no restrictions for oversize loads. Emergency vehicles will have access through the area.
