DOTD to host public information meeting for intersection improvement project at U.S. 84 and La. 34 in Winn Parish

WHAT: DOTD is hosting a public information meeting to discuss the upcoming construction of a roundabout in Winn Parish at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 84 and La. 34.

WHEN:  Tuesday, April 2, from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.

WHERE:   Family Church, 100 E. Boundary Ave., Winnfield, La.

WHO: DOTD representatives will be present to provide information and answer questions about the project. 

MORE: This project will convert the intersection of U.S. 84 and La. 34, located east of Joyce in Winn Parish, into a roundabout.  Roundabouts are an innovative and cost effective tool that increase safety, improve traffic flow and enhance the aesthetics of an intersection.  A formal presentation will begin at 5 p.m.
