BOSSIER CITY, La. -- Crews from the Northwest Louisiana district of the Department of Transportation and Development are busy loading equipment to send to Lafayette in order to help during the recent flooding. Since the flooding is impacting so much of south Louisiana, DOTD in that part of the state is running low on signs to warn of high water and close roadways. In an effort to bolster the inventory, crews here are taking 100 barricades, 31 road closed signs, 30 high water signs and 30 sign stands to Lafayette.
