DOTD announces alternating lane closures on the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge for sweeping operation

HENDERSON, LA. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Tuesday, June 28 until Wednesday, June 29, the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in St. Martin and Iberville Parishes will have alternating lane closures in the east and westbound directions for a sweeping operation, weather permitting.
This work is estimated to take place from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds motorists to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
