The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on October 12, 2016 at 8:00 am, LA 127 will be closed approximately 0.9 miles North of the Caldwell Parish Line. The intent of this closure is to remove and replace a deteriorated metal pipe. This closure is expected to last approximately 14 days.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:
Northbound traffic on LA 127 will detour South on US 165, then West on US 84, then North on LA 34 then East on LA 126, back to LA 127.
Southbound traffic on LA 127 will detour West on LA 126, then South on LA 34, then East on US 84, then North on US 165, back to LA 127.
