***NEW UPDATE*** (as of 6/21/2016): LA 38 IS NOW OPEN.
LA 38 between LA 441 and LA 1050 will continue to stay CLOSED through Friday, June 24th, 2016 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting) due to bridge repairs on LA 38 on the bridge at mile post 3.54.

Original closure notice:
LA 38, between LA 441 and LA 1050 will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016, until Thursday, June 16, 2016 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting). The road will be closed due to bridge repairs on LA 38 at mileposts 2.76, 3.54 and 5.66.
Motorists make take the following detour routes:
Motorists eastbound on LA 38 may take LA 441 south to LA 440 East to LA 1049 north to LA 1050 north to LA 38.
Motorists westbound on LA 38 may take LA 1050 south to LA 1049 south to LA 440 west to LA 441 north.
