The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Thursday, May 19, 2016, construction work will begin on the State Route listed below. The work will consist of surfacing the roadway with skid resistant material. The project is expected to be completed in September 2016. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.
Route: La 29 between US 71(Bunkie) and La 107(Cottonport)
Dates: Thursday May 19, 2016 to June 12, 2016.
Restrictions: The roadway will be reduced to one lane. There will be a width restriction of 12 feet.
