LA 1230; Grant Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advise the public that LA 1230, Grant Parish, will be closed at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work will be done at Milepost 7.450 and is on Control Section 822-06. The closure will be Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 8:00 AM till Monday, March 11, 2012 at 5:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific Railroad to change the trackpanel and surface thru the crossing.

Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely too all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 1230 to LA 500 to US 165 to LA 3098 to LA 1230. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
