The LA DOTD advises the public that weather permitting beginning Monday, March 11, 2013, work will begin on US 167 from the Evangeline Parish Line to the East End of I-49 Interchange, on LA 112 from the I-49 overpass bridge to the East End of I-49 Interchange and on LA 1198 from LA 1 to LA 457. Work consists of cold planing, pavement patching, superpave asphaltic concrete overlay, asphaltic surface treatment and related work. Project duration is expected to last until June.
This contract was awarded to Gilchrist Construction Co. LLC for $1,012,279.00.
Permit/Detour Section
There will be no detours or width restrictions as a result of this project. Traffic is advised to seek alternate routes when traveling through this area.
