The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 451, Moreauville, Avoyelles Parish, is now OPEN TO TRAFFIC.

Statewide 511 Traffic Information
LA 451 Moreauville; Avoyelles Parish
Mile Post 0.840; Control Section 374-02
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 451, Moreauville, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 0.840 and is on control section 374-02. The closure will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 8:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the surface and ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 451 to LA 1 South to LA 451. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
